History

Engineers, architects, lawyers, insurance firms and environmentalists have all called on Reg Broadbent when conducting investigations.

He is internationally acknowledged for his experience in independent laboratory consulting.

Through his work in forensic, industrial and analytical chemistry, Reg has regularly presented expert evidence in litigation, insurance loss adjustment, and criminal trials. He qualified in Chemistry by the examination of the Royal Institute of Chemistry, London, and has worked in academic and commercial research institutions in both Australia and the UK.

This included using sophisticated analysis and identification techniques in the isolation and synthesis of natural and pharmaceutical compounds.

Reg's work involves detection of arson, drugs, alcohol, product contamination, and building material faults such as concrete cancer.
Reg has been instrumental in conducting many of the exhaustive tests required for certification of the DA Series filters safety in respect to flammability, and potential toxic effects of filter materials and end cap sealant products.
