History
Stephen brings a degree of technical expertise to the Company with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, obtained from Monash University.
Whilst at Monash, other than extensive studies into fluid mechanics (filtration), Stephen produced a high caliber thesis on the topic of Machine Vision. The thesis, a collaboration between Monash and Nissan Australia involved the use of structured lighting as a means of inspecting engine casting dies. It was deemed to be an excellent foundation for future research and indeed, some observations and findings can be seen in like applications / studies today.
Post University Stephen worked initially as a Project Engineer at an Industrial Filtration and Urethanes Company. Here he was heavily involved with the Product Development and Sales Engineering of Industrial Filter Cartridges akin to those manufactured by Micro Fresh Filters. More recently, Stephen was made General Manager and a Director of the Industrial Filtration arm of the Company, prior to joining us here at Micro Fresh, July 05.
Stephen’s Technical and Management skills are being used to further develop the Diesel Exhaust Filtration Division of Micro Fresh Filters including marketing of the DA100 exhaust filter.
