History

Ray de Jersey originally trained as a food systems and filtration engineer, and ended up winning Government export awards for design and manufacture of patented processing equipment. Many Industry giants have called on him to design equipment to overcome particular problems.

His skills and expertise have seen him travel throughout Australia and many countries, especially the UK, Europe and Asia, to oversee installations of automated bakery operations, packaging and cannery projects, and turn-key manufacturing plants. During this time he further developed marketing skills in senior management positions internationally and was involved in the establishment of sales and marketing strategies, distribution networks and office infrastructures in several countries. Establishing a research and development company for the production of electroluminescent lighting material took him to the forefront of thin film technology and the ongoing development of specialised lighting products.

For the last ten years, his continuing interest in environmental and occupational health and safety led him to commence development of a diesel exhausts filter for use on vehicles in under ground coal mines.
